Canoeing & Kayaking at Hirundo
 
PADDLING ON YOUR OWN

Canoes and kayaks can be reserved free of charge for public use on the Pushaw Stream and Dead Stream on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer and fall months.

To reserve a canoe or kayak, please complete the reservation form  by  6pm the evening prior. 
 

 

​The public is also invited to bring their personal canoes or kayaks to Hirundo for use on either stream.

​Canoe/Kayak pick-up and the boat launch are both located at Gate 3. Check out our GET HERE page for more information on navigating to Hirundo.

Visitors are welcome at Hirundo daily from dawn to dusk.  Gate 1 is open to vehicles every day 10am to 4pm.  If gate is closed, you may park at the gate and walk in.
