Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator
Are you passionate about connecting like-minded people who are dedicated to preserving the great outdoors for the benefit and enjoyment of all?
We are seeking an individual to join our team who would be responsible for fundraising, marketing, communications and outreach into the community. This position raises awareness of Hirundo, builds organizational partnerships and garners support from individuals, civic organizations and businesses.
The Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator recruits volunteers and oversees our site rental and equipment rental programs.
Responsibilities:

Community Outreach + Marketing (35 %)

Fundraising and Income Streams (25 %)

Volunteer Management (25%)

Other Duties (15%)
Requirements:
-
2+ years relevant working experience
-
Strong organizational abilities with the ability to complete tasks autonomously

Strong written and oral communication skills including public speaking

Facility with technology, social media, and graphic design

Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector

Volunteer management experience
Pay:
This position could be full-time or half-time. Full-time salary starts at $40,000 annually, or higher commensurate on experience. Part-time starts at $20/hr.
