CAMP COUNSELOR
Are you passionate about nature and dedicated to making a positive impact on the next generation?
We are seeking enthusiastic and high-energy individuals to be leaders and educators for kids ages 8 to 14.
Hirundo hosts seasonal camps throughout the year, each featuring unique themes. Whether it's a week-long adventure in February or April, or one of the four separate weeks in the summer, every camp involves hiking, paddling, and exploring the wonders of nature.
Camp Dates:
February Camp: February 20-23
April Camp: April 15 - 19
Summer Camps:
Week 1: July 8 - 12
Week 2: July 15 - 19
Week 3: July 29.- August 02
Week 4: August 19 - August 23.
Apply for one or all Camps! Summer camp counselors must be available for all 4 summer weeks.
Responsibilities:

Planning, prep and implementation of camp activities.

Supervision of day-to-day camp activities with youth.

Ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all campers.
Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older.

Prior experience working with youth.

A genuine love for nature and comfort outdoors.
Pay:
Hourly wage: $18/hr
Internship credit is available. (Check with your institution to ensure this opportunity meets any requirements.)
