FROM THE SOUTH
Take the I-95 N. Take the ME-43 exit 197 to Old Town/Hudson. Go 0.3 mi to the end of the off ramp. At the stop sign, turn left onto Rt. 43 (Hudson Rd). Go west 4.75 mi and look for the large red signs.
On your right (north side of Rt. 43), there's a small parking lot at the front gate and kiosk. For more parking and closer access, take the dirt road for ~1/2 mile to the Pine Tree parking area. From here you have access to 7 trails, including the Trail of the Senses, Wabanaki, and Field to Forest Interpretive Trails, the 4-acre pond named Lac d’Or, and the Parker Reed shelter.

Located across from Gate 1 (on the left/ south side of Rt. 43) offers 5 additional trails (4.5 miles). Parking outside Gate 1. -- Dedicated parking lot for Gate 2 planned summer 2021--

Continue west (past) from Gate 1 for 0.36 miles and turn right into the parking area for equipment rentals, river access, and Pushaw Stream Trail.
