KEEP IT WILD AT HIRUNDO

You often hear us say, "it takes a village to maintain a refuge".  With Hirundo Wildlife Refuge's 2,460 acres of conserved woodlands and wetlands dedicated to preserving nature while providing educational, and recreational opportunities to the public, we most certainly need our village to help us Keep It Wild at Hirundo!

Hirundo is pleased to offer  7+ miles of marked trails, river access, public programs, and free rental opportunities for canoes, kayaks, and snowshoes. Our universal access trail, the Trail of the Senses, offers sensory and mobility impaired communities as well as the elderly an opportunity to access and experience nature. And, our Kids In Nature programs help educate the next generation of stewards and foster a love for the great outdoors.

Be part of the Hirundo "village" and support our efforts to Keep It Wild at Hirundo!
