Hirundo Wildlife Refuge is a non-profit organization and relies heavily on public support to carry out its mission and provide programs for community engagement. Hirundo takes pride in providing cost-free access to the land on a year-round basis, as well as low-cost programming for community members of all ages.

We cannot do what we do without your support, though. The preservation of 2400 acres in a natural state ensures that many plants and animals can thrive here bringing to the next generations the thrill of undisturbed nature. Today as ever, Hirundo is your nearby refuge to walk in silent contemplation of the forest along miles of trails, paddle a canoe on Pushaw Stream, or join in on one of our programs.
